Matt is an Operating Partner at FEP focused on the Beverage vertical. Prior to FEP, during a 30+ year beverage career including  16 years at The Coca-Cola Company, Matt was co-founder of Coca-Cola’s Corporate Venturing platform, Venturing & Emerging Brands and was founding President of Coca-Cola’s beverage alcohol subsidiary, Red Tree Beverages LLC. Matt was the architect of business models deployed by Coca-Cola in a highly regulated industry (beverage alcohol) and established strategic relationships with Molson Coors for Topo Chico Hard Seltzer and Simply Spiked as we as established strategic relationships with Constellation Brands and Brown-Forman for Fresca Mixed and Jack Daniels and Coca-Cola ready to drink beverage alcohol offerings. He also served as COO of a mid-sized beverage company and led a regional bottling company as Division President. Matt rounded out his diverse beverage career by leading/founding three entrepreneurial start ups.  With a keen knowledge and awareness of business opportunity, Matt is able to identify emerging markets, develop relevant strategy and implement to success.
