Jay Ferriero has 45 years of auto dealership, corporate and real estate finance.  Most recently the Chairman of Capital Automotive (CARS) for 26 years, Jay served as CEO, President and COO where he oversaw the growth and operations of a $4.5 BN auto dealership property portfolio.

Prior to CARS, he worked at 3 banks, including over 11 years with Comerica.  Jay’s banking roles included corporate banking and auto dealership floorplan lending.  As Sr. Lending Officer of Comerica Bank-Florida, he oversaw all consumer and commercial lending areas.  His direct lending experience included private and publicly held auto dealerships, tier one manufacturers, automotive parts and beverage distributors, consumer auto and mortgage lenders, retailers, restaurants and real estate developers.  

Jay has served on numerous corporate, community and charitable non-profit boards including The Catholic University of America.  He currently serves on 3 boards for his alma mater the University of Notre Dame: including the Business School, the Fitgerald Institute of Real Estate, and a non-profit for the 2024 National Champion Men’s Rowing Team.
