Prior to joining Franchise Equity Partners, Alex was an investment banking senior analyst at Evercore in the Consumer Retail Group. While at Evercore, he advised on the restructuring and bankruptcy of Serta Simmons Bedding, the sale of Sugar Foods Corporation to Pritzker Private Capital, and the acquisition of Melissa & Doug by Spin Master (TSE: TOY).

Prior to Evercore, Alex worked at UBS in the Consumer Products & Retail Group. While at UBS, he advised on the acquisition of The Coastal Companies by Sysco (NYSE: SYY) and the acquisition of Aerofil Technology by kdc/one. Alex began his career in Beijing as an investment associate at a leading VCPE firm that focuses on investments in semi-conductor, integrated chip manufacturing, new materials, and healthcare technology sectors.

 Alex received a B.S. magna cum laude in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics and Philosophy from Boston College.
